The holiday weekend is over and it’s time to head back to school and to work. As you can tell, it’s going to be cold over much of the state thanks to this front that blew through this weekend.
As you might expect it will be warmer on the coast and colder to the northwest. Luckily, it’s dry. We don’t have to worry about snow and/or much ice around most of the state.
As far as high temperatures, 50s will dominate the map tomorrow, with a few 60s down near Laredo and the border region. All in all, a pretty nice week ahead for most of Texas.
Over the period, we should see warmer temps in the eastern half of the state and then slightly lower temps as you move west.
Beaumont and Toledo Bend area will higher than normal temperatures while far west Texas will be a little below averages. From the Red River region on down to through the Permian basin, you might just see right around season averages.
Now, let’s talk rain. Over the next few days we can expect to see some rain out east while the west stays mostly dry. East Texas, where the population centers are will see some rain, but nothing to be overly concerned with. Most of the rain will likely fall into next weekend.
Out west, it’s going to be pretty decent work weather. No rainouts are on tap out in your area.
Well, there you have it. That’s pretty much how we will call this week’s forecast and of course, we will update it throughout the week if anything changes.
Have a great week!
