Weather Alert: Ground Stop Issued At Houston Intercontinental Airport

Houston–Thunderstorms and high winds have caused a ground stop at Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Currently, 297 flights have been delayed today partly due to weather. Officials are reporting a 24 minute delay at the city’s biggest airport, as disruptions continue.

Update:

5:39 p.m. The ground stop has been lifted at IAH however, travelers should expect some residual delays.
