Armed Suspect Headed To Church To “Fulfilling Prophecy” Sunday Morning

Seguin, Texas–Police day that an armed suspect who was arrested Sunday morning was out to fulfill a “prophecy” at a church.

Officials in Seguin, Texas say that they believe the suspect was planning on carrying out a mass shooting event at a local church.

The suspect is identified as 33 year old Tony Albert. Police say that Albert was arrested around 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning in the 2400 block of Kingsbury Street.

Albert was wearing tactical clothing, a face mask and was carrying a firearm with with additional ammunition.

Albert was taken into custody and booked into the Guadalupe County jail on marijuana and felon in possession of a firearms charge.

Seguin is located about 40 miles east of San Antonio and about 20 miles from Sutherland Springs, where a mass church shooting killed 26 in November, 2017.
