Live Report: 5 Officers Injured During Warrant Service In Southeast Houston

Houston, Texas– 5 Houston police officers are being treated at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center following a shooting in Southeast Houston Monday evening.

The incident started around 4:00 p.m. when officers were attempting to serve a narcotics warrant.

Four officers were shot during the incident and a fifth suffered a knee injury.

Two of the officers were in surgery Monday night with gunshot wounds to the head and neck area. Those officers are listed in critical condition.

Two other officers are said to be in stable condition and are expected to make a full recovery.

The officer with the knee injury was treated and released.

Two suspects are dead inside the house where the warrant was being served.

The names of the officers have not been released.
